Our adult sailing courses offer an introduction to the world of sailing and water sport for those 18+

We provide options for adults in both keelboats and dinghies. All courses follow nationally recognized Sail Canada curriculums.

Adult courses are an excellent starting point for those interested in getting on the water. Successful completion opens the pathway to Keelboat or Dinghy Membership. Learn more about membership options here.

Keelboat

Basic Cruising

Basic Cruising is an entry level course for beginner sailors. The purpose is to be able to safely sail in familiar waters, as both skipper and crew, in moderate wind and sea conditions. This course will be focused on developing basic sailing skills and will help you gain the knowledge needed to continue your sailing education.

See registration for course offerings and schedules. Classes occur both ashore in a classroom setting, as well as afloat in an RPSA club owned keelboat.
