This spring, give your child the opportunity to learn how to sail outside of summer camp! Designed for ages 11-15, this program teaches the fundamentals of sailing while covering the CANSail 1/2 curriculum.
Participants will gain skills in boat handling, safety, navigation, and teamwork, all in a fun and supportive environment led by certified instructors. Perfect for beginners or those looking to build their sailing foundation!

The Youth CANSail 5/6 Program is designed for advanced sailors looking to refine their racing techniques and improve their overall sailing performance. Taught in C420s, this program focuses on advanced boat handling, racing strategies, and teamwork. Participants will have the opportunity to develop their skills in a double-handed boat, enhancing their ability to work with a teammate while fine-tuning their sailing technique.
Attendance at the Waves Regatta on June 21-22 is part of the course, providing an essential opportunity to apply learned skills in a competitive environment.
Spring Race Team
Spring Race Team is the perfect time to get out on the water and practice sailing skills in a semi-competitive environment! Our season runs Sunday April 6th – Tuesday June 24th and attends two regattas out of English Bay. *Option to combine with CANSail 5/6, email info@rpsa.ca for more information.

Opti Race Team

Ready to have fun and improve your sailing skills? Join our Opti Race Team! This program is perfect for young sailors who want to build confidence on the water, learn new techniques, and explore the world of sailing in a supportive and exciting environment.
Sailing in Optimist dinghies, participants will practice with friends, take on new challenges, and even get a chance to participate in local regattas. It’s all about growing your skills, having fun, and enjoying time on the water!
420 Race Team
Ages: 12+

Designed for young sailors ready to start compete, this program focuses on developing racing skills, advanced techniques, and strategies. Participants will train in double handed c420 dinghies and gain experience through practice sessions and local regattas.
Perfect for sailors looking to sharpen their skills or embrace the excitement of competitive sailing!
Laser Race Team

Price: $700
Prerequisite: CANSail 3

Join the Laser Race Team and challenge yourself in one of the most competitive fleets in sailing! This program is designed for sailors looking to develop advanced racing skills in a single-handed boat, where independence and precision are key.
Participants will train in Lasers, focusing on technique, strategy, and boat speed while competing against other skilled sailors. With a strong emphasis on personal growth and competitive racing, this program is perfect for those ready to take their sailing to the next level.
Fall Race Team
Our season runs Sunday September 7th – Tuesday November 4th and attending one regattas out of English Bay and one Club Championships.
